    Description

The AlphaCell Batteries provide the ultimate warranties, the longest runtimes and the best longevity in today's demanding outdoor non-temperature controlled environments. AlphaCell AGM batteries are an economical option for broadband, traffic and other indoor/outdoor UPS applications. With a flame-arresting, one-way pressure-relief vent for safety and long life, and a thermally welded case-to-cover bond to ensure a leak-proof seal, Alpha's AGM batteries are classified as non-hazardous material and are not restricted for air, water or surface transport.

Due to the implementation of the HST and the elimination of the provincial sales tax in British Columbia, Canada, the $5 battery levy will be eliminated effective July 1, 2010. The BC Government will continue to fund the programs to offset the revenue loss and will review the Sustainable Environment Fund (SEF) budget annually.
