Argus Technologies merges with fellow Alpha Group member

 

On December 9th, 2009, Argus Technologies Ltd. announced that effective January 1, 2010 it will be merging with Canadian sister company Alpha Technologies Ltd., creating a new power solutions powerhouse, Alpha Technologies Ltd. (Alpha).

The merger will bring together Argus' specialization in telecom, mobility, backhaul and microwave power solutions with Alpha's UPS and back-up power capabilities in the traffic, security, cable TV (Canada), OEM and utilities sectors.

Fellow Alpha Group member Alpha Technologies Inc., based in Bellingham, Washington, USA continues as the industry standard provider of powering solutions for the Broadband Cable industry.

For our valued Argus customers, there will be numerous benefits resulting from this merger. As a new company with combined capabilities and efficiencies, Alpha will be able to develop and deliver a technological advantage across a broader scope of products and provide improved and diversified services.

In short, from the new Alpha you can expect Bigger, Faster, Better!
